At BSS, we are committed to keeping your workforce safe and secure when working at height. That is why we offer high-quality Abseil Anchors installation and maintenance services to ensure that your workers can access any part of your structure safely and effectively.

Facade access refers to the method and equipment used to gain access to the exterior of a building or structure for maintenance, cleaning, or repair purposes. This can include a range of equipment, such as rope access systems, horizontal track systems, abseil rails, monorails, and davit systems. Facade access is critical for maintaining the appearance and longevity of a building or structure, ensuring that it remains clean, functional, and structurally sound. Access to the exterior of a building can be particularly challenging for high-rise structures, so safe and efficient facade access equipment is essential.

We install Abseil Anchors and anchor points that are designed and built to meet all safety regulations and standards. Our team of professionals has years of experience in designing and installing systems that provide safe and reliable access for maintenance workers on high-rise buildings or structures.

But installing the Abseil Anchors and anchor points is just the start. To ensure that your workers can access the structure safely, we offer a 6-monthly maintenance service. During this service, our IRATA trained rope access users will thoroughly inspect and evaluate the Abseil Anchors and anchor points to make sure that they are fully functional and compliant with safety regulations.

By choosing us, you can rest assured that your workforce is protected while working at heights. Our comprehensive installation and maintenance services will ensure that your Abseil Anchors and anchor points will be fully operational and safe to use for years to come.

DAVIT SYSTEMS

Davit Sockets | Davit Arms

Rapidly becoming one of the most modern, safe and cost-effective approaches to working at height, rope access allows skilled technicians to reach restricted areas without the need for heavy plant or scaffolding.

Davit systems are an anchorage system designed with an outreaching jib to provide clear access over the side of the building or structure to prevent rope loads impacting the surrounding structure.

They typically consist of a permanently fixed davit socket to the structure and used in conjunction with a removable Davit arm. Sometimes Davits are designed in one piece and it’s also possible to use freestanding counterweighted davit arms. They can be used for Rope Access, Fall Arrest purposes when used around man holes and even for material lifting to hoist items such as pumps from underground wells.

Most commonly they are installed around the inside edge of rooftops providing safe access up and over glazed balustrades for window cleaning and maintenance purposes. They are utilised in many sectors and applications from high rise buildings to water treatment sites.

ROPE ACCESS POSTS (ABSEIL ANCHOR POSTS)

Rope Access Posts | Abseil Anchors | Rigid Anchor Posts

Rope Access Posts are an anchorage system designed for suspended access whereby the rope load on the parapet or edge details are not of a concern. They are possibly the most relied upon anchorage system for rope access and are well established as a preferred industry standard amongst the Rope Access technicians.

They typically consist of a permanently fixed post to the structure complete with 1, 2 or more anchorage rings depending on the application. They can be used for Rope Access and Fall Arrest purposes.

Most commonly they are installed around the inside edge of rooftops providing safe access up and over parapets for window cleaning and maintenance purposes.

HORIZONTAL TRACK SYSTEMS

Horizontal Track Systems | Monorails | Abseil Rail

Horizontal Track Systems / Abseil Rails / Monorails etc are an anchorage system designed for suspended access whereby the track is permanently fixed in place and the user traverses the track using wheeled carriages. They are a popular anchorage system for façade access as the user can quickly traverse the perimeter of the building and it leaves the roof area clear for terraces and plant etc.

They typically consist of a permanently fixed rail to the underneath or outside of the structure complete with mobile wheeled carriages which the operative will connect to. They can be used for Rope Access and are also effectively used for Fall Arrest / Fall restraint purposes due to the rigid nature of the track and ability to provide no deflection during Fall Arrest and can often be found in train depots and warehouses when working o top of vehicles when only a small ground clearance.
